First SOS-families can appear in Belarus in 2012

First SOS-families can appear in Belarus in 2012 – said Tatiana Burova, Deputy Director General of the “Belarusian Children’s Fund SOS-Children’s Village” Non-Governmental Organization, at the press conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Organization. 

Two candidate SOS-families appeared in Belarus. Currently they under go a probation period on the premises of the SOS-Village in Mogilev.
 
The Belarusian Children’s Fund SOS-Children’s Village is an associated member of the SOS Kinderdorf International INGO. The Organization is engaged in upbringing of children without parental support in SOS – Children’s Villages. Moreover, the Belarusian fund works for prevention of social orphanhood, renders charitable help to the needy families and children. The Belarusian Children’s Fund SOS-Children’s Village founded three social and pedagogic educational establishments: SOS-Children’s Villages in Borovliany, Maryina Gorka, and Mogilev.
