On the state registration of non-governmental organizations, foundations during the first six months of 2011

The number of registered non-governmental organizations and foundations is growing steadily in the Republic of Belarus. 

During the first six months of 2011 as many as 51 newly established NGOs (6 republican and 45 local), 11 newly established foundations (1 international, 1 republican and 9 local), 1 trade union and 1 association were registered at thw Ministry of Justice and main justice departments of regional executive committees, Minsk City Executive Committee.
 
9 new organizational structures of political parties, 273 new organizational structures of trade unions, 999 new organizational structures of other non-governmental organizations were registered in the first half-year of 2011.
 
As of July 1, 2011, as many as 15 political parties and 985 party-organizations, 36 trade union and 22856 trade union organizations, 2359 NGOs (230 international, 682 republican and 1447 local), 36300 organizational structures of NGOs, and also 26 NGO unions (associations), 109 foundations (10 international, 5 republican, 94 local) were on the record in the Republic of Belarus.
