Mothers and Fathers, be Ready to Study

№17 (5180) 01.02.10 “SOS Children’s Village Fund” Belarusian Non-Governmental Organization intends to create the foster parents school in Mogilev. SOS Children’s Village Fund is planning to establish such school in cooperation with educational institutions of the Mogilev Region, said Tatiana Burova, Deputy Director General of this NGO, at the meeting with Peter Rudnik, the Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. The main objective is to teach foster parents and support them in their everyday life. Prospects of mutual cooperation in SOS-projects implementation were discussed on the premises of the Mogilev SOS-village with the participation of representatives from SOS-Kinderdorf International (Austria) International Charitable Organization. 

SOS-Children’s village in Mogilev represents the third project of this kind implemented by SOS-Kinderdorf International (Austria) International Charitable Organization in Belarus. The first SOS-village was opened in Borovliany village near Minsk in 1995. On 24 August 2004 another SOS-village was opened in Maryina Gorka.
