To preserve the Invisible

№ 93(5508) 21.05.11 The advisory meeting of experts and UNESCO trainings are held in Minsk on the initiative of the UNESCO Secretariat and the Bureau of this international organization in Moscow for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Belarus and Russia. The conference has been arranged with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. 

The matter concerns the development and improvement of forms and methods of implementation of the UNESCO International Convention on preservation of intangible heritage in the countries, which are included in the cluster of UNESCO Bureau in Moscow (2003). Belarus was one of the first countries to ratify the document, – said Lubava Morova, specialist for culture of the UNESCO Bureau in Moscow.
The meeting participants believe that the intangible heritage of every country is a valuable resource which can serve both for spiritual refinement and tourism development in the regions.
