  • Lifelong Disqualification

    16.07.2008 The Referee's Committee of the Belarusian Football Federation disqualified Sergey Shmolik, FIFA referee and the best Belarusian referee, for term of life. The meeting was held on Tuesday, 15 July. It considered the incident occurred during the national championship football play between Vitebsk and Naftan which had taken place on July 5.

On September 26 Brest Regional Court did not allow a claim of Valyantsina Lazarenka and the leader of Brest Branch of NGO "Belarusian Khelsinki Committee" Igar Maslousky on the decision of the District Court — in August they had been fined for the organisation of a seminar.

  • BHC against the Department of

    № 34 (440), 16.09.2005. On September 8 the National Non-governmental Organisation "Belarusian Helsinski Committee" lodged a complaint about the Presidential Affairs Administration to the Superior Court. The human rights defenders complain the Department of Humanitarian Aid of the Presidential Affairs Administration refused to register the finacial aid that had been transfered for BHC by International Helsinki Federation. The rejection was not explained.

  • Kruchkouski's conception , the conception of Gavin and the conception of Boris

    ? 29 (435), 05.08.2005. The conception of the first BPU chairman Tadevush Gavin was close cooperation with Belarus independent society, including political parties. Kruchkouski refused to contact with independent non-governmental organisations, but maintained close relations with the Belarusian authorities. The conception of Agelica Boris, who is a teacher by profession, accentuated the social and cultural essence of BPU. In her opinion, the Union should refrain from political processes.
