This Portal section presents different projects implemented by the Belarusian NGOs. The projects are divided by the lines of activities.
Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ) was set up in 1995. BAJ is a non-governmental non-profit organisation, aiming to ensure freedom of speech and rights of receiving and distributing information and promoting professional standards of journalism. BAJ has its members in over 160 independent and state-owned publications, publishing companies, radio and television companies. BAJ has affiliate offices in all six regions of the country. From 1997 BAJ is a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), from 2003 affiliate member of Reporters Sans Frontiers (RSF).
Belarusian PEN Centre is a non-governmental, non-political and non-commercial organisation. It was founded by the Organising Committee in November 1989 and adopted to International P.E.N. at its World Congress in 1990.
Over the first year, the Project has worked with the following five business associations: Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs http://www.baeonline.org; Minsk City Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers http://www.allminsk.biz/; Brest Region Union of Entrepreneurs http://spbo.iatp.by/; Association of Employers and Entrepreneurs Vitebsk) http://anp2003.at.tut.by/; Entrepreneurs' Club NGO (Grodno).
The Belarusian Association of Entrepreneurs is the national public association of small, medium-sized and large private businesses.
